What to expect

We know new things can be scary but rest assured we have your back.  We are here to ensure your first class is a great experience and have you wishing you found Pilates years ago.

As soon as you arrive you will be greeted by your instructor.  You will fill out our waiver detailing injuries or limitations.  Then your instructor will give you an overview of the machine and give you an idea of what to expect during class.  Throughout class they will check in on you to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout.

What do I Wear?

We recommend that you wear comfortable form fitting workout attire.  You will not be wearing shoes during your workout; instead, we require socks with grip for your safety and sanitary reasons.  If you do not have socks with grip, we sell them at the studio starting at $7.

What do I bring?

We suggest that you bring a water bottle and small gym towel.  We require socks with grip for your safety and sanitary reasons.

When do I arrive?

We require that you arrive at least 10 minutes in advance of your first session.  This ensures we have the proper time to get you situated and acquainted with the reformer.

Do you have classes for beginners?

We have 3 sessions each week devoted to beginners.  We offer a 20 minute Reformer Demo one on one with an instructor on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:45am or Reformer Basics group class on Saturday at 9am.  That being said all of our classes are designed in such a way to teach to all levels.  So feel free to start off with a beginner class or if that does not fit your schedule join any of our sessions, you will fit right in.

Should I sign up for classes in advance?

Yes, we have a limited number of reformers, so to guarantee you will be able to workout we ask that you sign up ahead of time.  You are always welcome to walk in and see if there is an open reformer.

How do I sign up for my free trial?

Reservations are made through our app which you can find on the apple app store/Google play under Evolve Pilates or on our scheduling page or the mindbody app.  You can click "Schedule" on our website.

Should I start off taking a private reformer class?

For individuals who are pre or postnatal, or those with active injuries or limitations, we highly recommend starting with a private class before joining group sessions. This personalized approach allows our instructors to tailor the workout specifically to your needs and ensure your safety and comfort. Additionally, if you prefer individual attention or simply enjoy the solitude of a one-on-one setting, starting with private sessions is the perfect choice for you.

What if I need to cancel?

No problem.  You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 6 hours in advance for classes.  If you cancel after this time you will lose your session and be charged a $15 late cancel/no show charge.

When will I see a difference in strength?

The frequency of your visits and your commitment to consistency play a crucial role in achieving optimal results. By attending the studio 2-4 times a week, you can unlock the best outcomes for your fitness journey. Like Joe Pilates says "In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 sessions you will see the difference and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body."
